How do I track my order?Updated 2 months ago
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information.
Please note: tracking details don’t always appear instantly. It can take up to 24 hours for the tracking number to become active in the carrier’s system. If you don’t see updates right away, don’t worry - that’s completely normal. Often, the carrier won’t provide an Estimated Delivery Date until the package reaches its first distribution hub.
We promise it’s on the move, even if it hasn’t started “tracking” just yet.
Which Carrier Will Deliver My Order?
We ship with different carriers depending on what you ordered:
FedEx - Most chicken coops and runs
UPS or USPS - Smaller items and accessories
USPS - Live chick deliveries
If your order includes multiple items, they may ship separately and arrive on different days. This is normal and helps get everything to you as quickly as possible.
FedEx Orders (Coops & Runs)
If your order includes multiple items (or a coop or run that ships in multiple boxes), FedEx will assign:
One primary tracking number
Additional tracking numbers for each package
Typical delivery timeframe 3-5 days
To view all tracking numbers, visit the FedEx tracking page and click the link that says:
“Shipment is 1 of X pieces”
This will expand the full list so you can keep tabs on every box and make sure nothing flies the coop.
UPS & USPS Orders (Smaller Items)
Smaller items like accessories usually ship in one package, but occasionally may arrive separately if ordered with a larger item. The typical delivery timeframe is 3-5 days.
Tracking will update once the package reaches its first processing facility.
Freight Orders (Brahma Coop Deliveries)
Our Brahma Coop ships via freight due to its size.
Freight shipments operate a little differently:
Tracking may take a bit longer to populate.
These deliveries require a signature.
The carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment.
Typical delivery timeframe 5-8 days
Because these are larger deliveries, transit times and tracking updates can move at a slightly slower pace - but rest assured, your coop is on its way.
USPS Live Chick Deliveries
Live chicks ship via USPS and are sent Priority Mail for the fastest possible delivery.
You will receive tracking information once they ship, and they will be delivered to the post office that services your address. Your local post office will call you for pickup once they arrive. The typical delivery timeframe is 2-3 days.
