Why Am I Seeing “The Chicks In Your Order Do Not Have A Common Hatch Date Available”?Updated a month ago
When you’re checking out, you might see this message pop up:
“The Chicks In Your Order Do Not Have A Common Hatch Date Available. Please Change The Chicks In Your Order or Contact Us For Help.”
Don’t worry – nothing’s wrong! This just means the breeds you picked don’t all hatch on the same day. Since baby chicks need to ship together, we can only send breeds that share a hatch date in one order.
Why This Matters
Shipping live chicks costs $70 per shipment. If your breeds don’t line up, you’d be charged shipping for each separate hatch date. Keeping all chicks on the same schedule saves you money and ensures they travel safely together.
What You Can Do
Tweak your cart: Try swapping or removing a breed so all chicks share the same hatch date.
Reach out to us: Not sure which ones line up? Message us – we’re happy to help.
Separate orders (if you want): You can place two orders for different hatch dates, just remember each order will have its own $70 shipping fee.
The Big Picture
Think of it like carpooling for baby chicks – everyone ships together, safe and cozy, and you avoid extra shipping surprises.
